Well, let me tell you what I think. YES! Lets face it their schedule is favorable, the team has chemistry, their defense is playing great and lets not even go there with the offense. The team has a record of 7-0 and with 9 more games remaining (2 each against Tampa and Carolina, 1 each against Atlanta, St. Louis, Washington, New England and Dallas). Granted, games between New England and Dallas raises an eyebrow, but these games are @ home.
With the Saints playing the Panthers this weekend @ home, I think Brees and the Saints are looking for a little payback from last season. Remember the Saints went to Carolina last season and took a whipping, 30-7 defeat, the worst lost of the season. It was the only game of the season in which the Saints were never in the game. They also played Carolina @ the "Dome" and lost that one 33-31, with Brees falling 16 yards short of breaking Dan Marino record for the most single-season passing yards and ending the Saints season @ 8-8. So yeah, I think a little payback is in store.
